About
Reading Landscapes
The mission
We are the stewards of the land that provides for us: with every design gesture, we want to leave a gentle footprint, that generates life and beauty on this planet we call Home.
Our mission is to build resilient landscapes that address the issues of climate change and become attractive places for people making a beautiful impact on our world.
We want every single drop of water that falls from the sky and touches this life blessed planet, to have the possibility to meet the roots of a plant.
We wish for every molecule of water that reaches those roots, to receive enough energy from the sun to get combined, into a molecule of oxygen, and a molecule of carbon.
The approach
We live in a beautiful world.
Every place, even the most anonymous, has something special about it: a view, a building, a tree, a history.
Every project begins with listening to the place, and reading the landscape, whether it is urban, rural, industrial, or infrastructural.
Reading the landscape means to recognize deep identities, reactivate forgotten memories, and give back a meaning to places.

Just for laughs
After a first attempt in 2018, in 2019 I successfully applied to participate in Fjallraven Polar: a 300km dog sledding expedition in the Arctic wilderness.
Here are the presentation videos of that time time:
